What do Curcuminoids do?

We all know that Curcuminoids are found in Turmeric, and it is outstanding for health issues, but we don’t know what exactly 95 Curcuminoids or Curcumin do.

So today, I am going to tell you what Curcuminoids do. 


Curcumin targets multiple signaling molecules while also demonstrating activity at the cellular level. It is also recognized and used worldwide in many different forms for health benefits.

For instance,

In India, Turmeric that contains Curcumin has been used in curries.

In Japan, it is served with tea.

In Thailand, it is used in cosmetics.

In China, people use it as a colorant.

In Korea, it is served in drinks.

In Malaysia, it is used as an antiseptic.

In Pakistan, people use it as an anti-inflammatory agent.

In the United States, people consume it as mustard sauce, cheese, butter, and chips.

Curcumin is available in different forms such as capsules, tablets, ointments, energy drinks, soaps, and cosmetics.

Curcuminoids are approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as “Generally Recognized As Safe” and good tolerable.

Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties are the two significant benefits of Curcumin in various conditions. Curcumin 95 is used to improve systemic markers of oxidative stress. There is evidence that it can increase the serum activities of antioxidants such as superoxide dismutase.

Curcumin is a lipophilic compound like vitamin E; Curcumin is also considered a chain-breaking antioxidant.

However, Curcumin that is present in Turmeric doesn’t have any side effects, but some of the common side effects are

      Constipation.

      Dyspepsia.

      Diarrhea.

      Distension.

      Gastroesophageal reflux.

      Nausea.

      Vomiting.

      Yellow stool.

      Stomach ache.

Curcumin has worldwide benefits for its multiple health benefits, which appear to act primarily through its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory mechanisms, and these benefits are best achieved when Curcumin is combined with agents such as piperine, which increases its bioavailability significantly.

Many researchers suggest that Curcumin can help in the management of oxidative and inflammatory conditions, metabolic syndrome, arthritis, anxiety, and hyperlipidemia. It may also relieve inflammation and muscle soreness, and a low dose can provide health advantages for those who are not diagnosed with health conditions.
